Seventh-Day Adventist School Victoria is seeking a candidate for the role of a full time Grounds & Maintenance join the Gilson College, Taylors Hill, commencement ASAP

The Ground& Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for the effective coordination and oversight of the maintenance of the schools buildings and facilities to a high standard of safety and compliance and the upkeep the school's grounds and gardens to a high standard of presentation.

The successful applicant will need to bring the following experience and skills to this role:

  • Must be a baptised and practicing member of the Seventh-day Adventist church or an adherent of another Christian denomination with doctrines, tenets and beliefs comparable to those of the Seventh-day Adventist church and be supportive of the ethos of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and the school's vision.
  • Must have recognized trade and/or demonstrated technical experience/knowledge in construction, plumbing, electrical building and grounds maintenance.
  • Demonstrated experience/competency in a management role.
  • Must have knowledge of current OH&S regulations and Codes of Practice relevant to the role.
  • Proficiency in IT applications is preferable.
  • Ability to work with children and support a child safe culture.
  • Must hold and maintain a valid Working With Children Check.
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Must have recognized trade and/or demonstrated technical experience/knowledge in construction, plumbing, electrical building and grounds maintenance.
