Developing leadership through service experiences

Our college is dedicated to developing student leadership and character through impactful, authentic experiences. Thanks to an ongoing mutual partnership with my*mission, our community can make a difference to those in need by raising funds and attending mission trips to support my* mission’s projects.

Funds raised by my* mission help alleviate poverty and build a brighter future for people in South-East Asia. They are used to pay for teaching staff in remote villages and to support two orphanages, Hope and Peace. The financial resources provide the orphanages with water wells, tanks, and closets, ensuring access to clean drinking water and proper hygiene.

Our school supports this valuable organisation in a number of ways. Each year, we participate in a mission trip, where Year 10 students and staff visit the orphanages and nearby schools to assist in teaching English and serve the local people. This mission work allows students to make a tangible difference while developing leadership skills and gaining a deeper understanding of the needs of others.

These transformative experiences give our students a true understanding of the value of service, compassion, and community, embodying the Christian values we strive to instil in our educational approach.
