Gilson College is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Education Support Officer to join its Secondary School Campus at Taylors Hill (for up to approximately 33 hours per week, over five days). This role would suit an individual who is wanting to have the school holidays free.

The focus of the Education Support Officer is to assist individual students or small groups of students, during learning and extra-curricular activities, including sports days and excursions, as directed by the classroom teacher. In addition, the Education Support Officer also assists in the preparation, distribution and collection of classroom materials and administrative duties, such as the keeping of student and equipment records.

Ideally, you'll bring the following repertoire of experience to your role:

  • Certificate III in School-Based Education Support (preferred)
  • 2-3 years of industry experience
  • Excellent communication skills ? verbal and written
